Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works Haul

A small little haul! My excuse is... I had lots of coupons, free panties, and 3 10$ off cards from Victoria's Secret which made the trip to the mall necessary, of course :]

My first stop :

 bath & body

I had to get a new poof. My winter one was slowly wearing away (I know I really should change them more often). I usually buy Bath & Body poofs because they tend to hold up and last longer than the ones from Walmart. And they had all their Spring-time colors! Yay! Retails for 3.50 USD - here.

While I was there, I noticed their new Fresh Picked line and of course had to smell all the new scents.

First Bloom was definitely my favorite of the bunch. It is also 3$ cheaper than their regular line of lotions. I heard it doesn't contain as much nutrients but it smelled real good :]  It's light, fresh, and floral. Not too sweet and perfect for spring.  The site describes the scent as water lotus and pink peony. Love!
Retails for 8.00 USD - you can find the collection, here. And the lotion I picked up, here

I suggest going in and taking a wiff of their new Fresh Picked line. What do you think of it?

 Next stop :

Victoria's Secret

A favorite!

I picked up a few goodies! I had a card for a free No-show Sexy Hiphugger panty from Body by Victoria. Fits true to size and I'm curious to see how it wears. I also needed another nude bra for everyday. I hate shopping for boring nude bras. I picked up a plain old nude bra from the Fabulous Collection. I love the Fabulous bras because they fit so well I forget I'm wearing them! That's always a plus, right? Retails for 48.00 USD.

To spice up my search for nude bras I picked up this 'neutral' rhinestone, sparkly, bra to pass as a nude bra I can wear with anything. It's the new Temptation push-up bra. So pretty I don't even want to wear it- haha! I will have to see if this one wears as good as my other bras. I've had good luck with rhinestone-d bras from Victoria's Secret (I have yet to have one fall off my other bras). The rhinestones don't show through my shirts unless they are thin or tight. I will definitely make this one work ;]
Find it here. Retails for 48.00 USD.

I really love the Long Sleeve Raglan tee from the PINK collection which is now out of season and now on sale! They had a whole rack of them for 15.00 USD. I picked up this heather grey one to pull over my outfits on chilly summer nights. So slouchy, comfy, and casual. I review and show my mint green one, here

I also picked up my favorite basic V-neck tee, The Essential V-Neck Tee from the PINK Collection. Retails for 19.50 or 2/$30. No idea why I didn't do the 2/$30 but I just loved this color to death. I don't have anything like it in my closet and I've already got outfits playing in my mind.
Super soft, fitted, and comfy. More love!

Each shirt has a cute little dog embroidery on the bottom corner. Cute :]

OOTD : Lucky Brand Emmie Flats in Luxe Leopard

Here I go again with some more green and purple. I wore this out to the mall on a really chilly spring day!! It felt like winter so I added a lavender scarf to remind myself it's suppose to be spring :]

I had loads of Victoria's Secret coupons and free panties. My excuse to make the trip. Maybe I should do a haul or is lingerie too weird? I got some pretty sparkly things that I'd rather look at than put on.

Now that I think of it- I really should have belted everything together in this outfit. I went with a emerald-hunter green dress, thick leggings cause it was freezing, a basic black cardigan, a lavender scarf with subtle patterns, and my comfy new leopard flats. I also went with simple yet elegant earrings, my JewelMint Audrey Earrings. I did a short review of them - here.

Dress and basic black leggings is from H&M. Basic black cardigan is from Zara. Scarf is from the markets in Florence.

These are from Lucky Brand. They are the Emmie Flats in Luxe Leopard. I just got around to wearing them but  I purchased these beauties around Christmas time for 59.00 USD at Belks. Sadly they weren't on sale but they are now! You can find them here. I was raving about my other pair of emmie flats in Rose Cream - here :] They are just so comfy! The material is so soft and flexible. Not hard and stiff like some flats that give me blisters in 5 minutes.

I really wanted a pair of good quality leopard flats and I was automatically drawn to these because they weren't as loud as some of the other leopard prints I've seen. It was just a nice subtle print that I could easily match with my wardrobe. I absolutely adore these :]

MAC Veluxe Pearl shadows : Dazzlelight, Sumptuous Olive, Coppering, Expensive Pink

MAC Veluxe Pearl shadows

Dazzlelight, Sumptuous Olive, Coppering, and Expensive Pink

Shimmery off white, slightly cream colored, shadow. Warm toned. Pigmented and even more pigmented wet. This is such a beautiful color. It can brighten up my entire make-up look for the day. I love this color on the lids and the inner corners- great for highlighting. It is such an illuminating color. Its' name does it justice. I've already got a back-up purchased of this color :]

Sumptuous Olive

Golden shimmery army green. Applied dry it is somewhat sheer. Applied wet, this color is stunning and it really brings out that beautiful golden sheen. Wet, this color can deepen up an eye look. I enjoy applying this dry then wetting my brush and deepening up the outer corners.

A shimmery burnt orange/ red. Smooth and pigmented. Very intense when applied wet. A really beautiful color and looks lovely in the crease.

Expensive Pink

A medium peach/ coral color with a duo-chrome golden sheen. Almost like a shimmery rose gold coppery color. Pigmented and even more vibrant when applied wet. Blends beautifully. Applying it wet really brings out that golden duo-chrome sheen on your lid. I almost always apply this wet. It is an incredibly beautiful and stunning color! It goes really well with MACs Rubenesque paint pot as a base. It reminds me of summer :] Would re-purchase. It's up there with my favorite MAC shadows.

Natural Light
Artificial Light

Overall Thoughts :

Honestly, I have no complaints here with these shadows. I really enjoy the texture and formula of the Veluxe Pearl shadows. Why don't I have more? Pigmentation and blend-abilty is great. I enjoy all these colors. I don't reach for coppering as much as I should. For me, it's kind of a scary! Since I'm so fair, it looks more beautiful in the crease than anywhere else.

Each eye shadow retails for 15.00 USD. All my shadows were purchased at MAC counters in the mall or online at

OOTD Mint Green : Victoria's Secret & Lucky Brand Emmie Flats

And Luck Brand Emmie Flats in Rose Cream

Mint green! One of my favorite colors to wear! Not to mention another great color for spring :]

I wear mint all year round... I actually got this lovely shirt around Christmas hence why the photos are a little old. I picked this top up at Victoria's Secret. It's called the Long Sleeve Raglan tee from the PINK collection - You can find it here. It retails for 24.50 USD or 2/$40. The shirt is super soft, slouchy, and comfy! I want to wear it all day every day. I can look cute while being comfy! Now that's always a plus. The neckline is big enough to wear off the shoulder. It is a little sheer but I don't mind since I love layering. It is also longer in the back which is great if I want to wear it with a pair of leggings.

The basic white tank is from H&M. The jeans are my favorite skinnes from Zaras' trf collection.

Lets mention these beauties! They are made by Lucky Brand and are known as the Emmie Ballet flats - you can find them here. These are in the color, Rose Cream. They retail for 59.00 USD. I bought them a little bigger than usual and they are the most comfy ballet flats I own. So comfy in fact that I purchased these same shoes in Leopard print which are actually on sale now - here. Super cute! Both of mine were purchased at Belks. I wanted some nude flats to go with everything and these flats in Rose Cream do the job. I have pinkish undertones to my skin so it works out perfectly.  Glad I made the splurge because finally I found a pair of flats that don't rub or give me blisters! Yes! Material is soft and flexible.

MAC Frost eye-shadows : Crystal, Vex, Satin Taupe, Tilt, Moon Flower

MAC Frost eye-shadows in :

Crystal, Vex, Satin Taupe, Tilt, Moon Flower

Soft gray lilac color. Sheer but build-able. Color is more vibrant when applied wet. Applies wet beautifully to the lid and has a lovely purple sheen. I really love this lilac color - it's great when you want something I little more subtle. Very wearable. Would repurchase.

Vex is a soft green shade with a pink sheen to it. Lovely duo chrome shade. Applied dry, it's sheer but build-able. Applied wet, it is amazing. You can get some of that pink sheen to come through and you can get the color to really pop on the lids. I think its a beautiful lid shade when applied wet.  I love this with MACs Club or even Tilt. Would repurchase.

Satin Taupe

Thise shade has got to be one of my top favorite MAC shadows ever. If your shopping for some MAC shadows this is one of the shades you should pick up. I can use this shadow with everything and it just looks awesome. The name says it all- it's a beautiful shimmery taupe color with brown undertones and hits of plum. Soft, smooth, and great pigmentation. Easy to build and blend. Applies beautifully wet and can really deepen up your look. Will most definitely will be repurchasing.

Crystal, Vex, Satin Taupe. All applied dry then wet.

I apologize for it's poor state. My mother dropped and tried to piece it together unsuccessfully. I saved it from being thrown out :]

Soft blue with lavender undertones and a green sheen. Stunning duo chrome shade. When applied dry it's sheer and builds up slowly. Applied wet this shadow is amazing. The color really pops. You can get some of that green duo chrome finish and it blends so beautifully wet. I don't wear blue shadow hardly at all but this shade is one of my favorite shades of blue when used wet.Would repurchase.

Moon Flower

Moonflower is your average shimmery 'blue jean' blue. Texture is smooth. Fairly pigmented and builds up nicely. For some reason I don't really reach for this shade unless I'm layering it with other colors. This looks so beautiful layered with purple shadows like FIG. 1.

Tilt and Moonflower. Applied dry then wet.

 Artificial lighting

Overall Thoughts :

I really enjoy this bunch and there is a lot of unique shades I would repurchase. My favorite here is Satin Taupe though. I was buying and trying to find dupes for Satin Taupe because I was trying to get around spending the money for this popular MAC shade. The dupe turned out to be horrible (I'll do I post about it in the future). There's no way around it haha you have to go for the real MAC Satin Taupe! I've mentioned this in a previous post but for applying shades like Crystal and Vex dry I find it easier to pick up and pack on the color with a flat, dense brush using a patting motion- not a sweeping motion. I use a MAC 195 brush. Fluffy brushes just dont do the job with sheer dense shadows unless your applying your shadow wet.

Each eye shadow retails for 15.00 USD. All my shadows were purchased at MAC counters in the mall or online at
