La Femme Blush : Terracotta and Dusty Rose

La Femme
Blush-On Rouge:

Terracotta and Dusty Rose

Terracotta and Dusty Rose

Terracotta
More bright and vibrant in real life. Bright coral definitely leaning more to the orange side. Very shimmery and extremely pigmented. Use a light hand!

Dusty Rose
Deeper brown-ish pink. Sliver shimmer. Extremely pigmented so use a light hand!

Terracotta and Dusty Rose.  Natural Light.

Overall Thoughts:

Big fan of La Femme Blushes! If you watch gossmakeupartist on Youtube you may have heard these. Very pigmented. I have to use a light hand with the majority of these blushes. Large variety of colors to choose from. Some of the blushes can be very shimmery so If your not a fan of shimmer, do your research and browse swatches! Lasting power is great. Buttery consistency that is wonderful. Packaging is nice, just a simple screw-on lid.

These blushes can be hard to find. I purchased all my blushes at makeupmania.com. Extremely affordable! You get a ton of product for the price - .14 oz. One blush retails for 3.50 USD in the pot and 2.87 USD in the Pan. The website also allows you to create your own personalized blush palette.

Overall :

Love this pallet! Colors are all soft, pigmented, and easy to use. I reach for this when I want an easy, natural, everyday eye look. You really cant go wrong with this pallet. Every time I use it my eye make-up looks fresh

Wet n wild packaging is fragile and flimsy.  I handle mine with care! Ive heard many complain about the cheap packaging but for the price I'm not expecting nice expensive cases.

OOTD : Sweater Skirts

OOTD :
Sweater Skirts

One of my favorite clothing items for winter is sweater skirts. I love them to death whether they are in-style or not. I recently had a lady ask me how her daughter would wear one from Target. They can be tricky to style so hopefully this outfit gives you some ideas on how to style your sweater skirts.

Pick out a sweater! Most of my winter skirts have greys, navy blues, or reds. I try to pick a color from that general color scheme. Here, I went with grey. Skirts are obviously not practical for winter and that is precisely why I love tights and knee socks! I picked out a blue pair of knee socks to add a bit of color to this more monochromatic look. Don't forget to throw on your favorite pair of boots. I was able to wear this look with multiple skirts

Skirt was purchased at Zara during an end of winter clearance sale. So keep your eyes open for your perfect sweater skirt!

Nicole by OPI :
Kim-pletely in Love

Kardashian Kolor Nail Lacquer

This is the only polish from the Kardashion Kolors I picked up. Its such a unique color - A baby pink with light blue flecks of shimmer. It's beautiful in the sunlight! The pictures don't do this color justice. You have to see it in person! It looks very elegant.

The formula is nice and creamy. Not gritty at all and dries pretty shiny. The color is pretty sheer which is visible in the photos, I have 2 coats on. but I honestly I don't mind it. Its build-able and with a few more coats you could probably get it more opaque. Boy that's a lot of drying time though!  Also, the first few coats can be a little streaky. Since this is such a beautiful color, I'm willing to work with it :]

I picked mine up at Walmart. Retails for 7.00 USD.

Rose Water

Rose Water

Help calm redness and brighten your complexion

Accutane really made my entire face red. I needed a product to help calm down my skin and help reduce my redness. I've heard many good things about rose water and they proved to be true. This is the only rose water that I've tested but, for me, it does my skin wonders so I've stuck with it.

It really helps reduce my redness, makes my skin bright, and glowing. I like to spitz this on right after my shower and right before my thick moisturizer. I find it helps me apply thicker moisturizers more evenly. Also, on hot days when your face appears more irritated I love spritzing this on to help calm my skin down!

Overall I love this product. I have added it into my everyday skin care routine and I honestly don't know what I would do with out it. Plus, if your like me and love the smell of roses, you will love this!

8oz Retails approximately 8.00 USD depending on where you purchase.

OOTD : The Leather Skirt

OOTD :
The Leather Skirt

I love a leather skirt. I think you can look really polished. I particularly Love throwing on a turtle neck to dress it down but still look stylish. And to stay warm I threw on my favorite pair of thick grey tights. I wanted a touch of lace so I went with some lacy knee socks to peek out of my boots. I added a chain/leather necklace and leather boots to tie the whole outfit together.

I purchased my leather skirt about 3 years ago at a Zara but they are fairly easy to find these days. I've seen a lot from traditional black to burgundy on dailylook.

One of my favorite necklaces! I made this from a purse that needed to be shortened. Have an old purse? Be creative!
